For day 2 my goal was to implement the game word.
I have found some nice winter tiles on http://opengameart.org/ belonging to Marta Nowaczyk which go very well with the idea which I have for the game, this is how my implementation looks:
I have implemented also some dynamic snowing weather effect:
The world map is half generated by reading a text file and half by using a random procedure for placing the trees and other accesories.
Time Management
As you can see in the Pomodoro log today was a lazy development day… I actually spent more time preparing the journal entry than actually working on the game…:

To not feel too bad about today’s development laziness and as a reward that I found time to hit the gym I cooked myself a nice meal 🙂 :
